A Platform for Scottish Independence · 2026

Scotland can be
independent.
Here's how it works.

A complete economic and social platform for an independent Scotland. This is not a manifesto, or a wish list, but a worked plan with real numbers, a credible currency path, and a structural vision for what Scotland could become if it chose to begin afresh.

THE QUESTION ISN'T WHETHER.

The honest case

Scotland is a wealthy country by any objective measure. Energy, land, water, a skilled workforce, world-class universities, a distinct civic identity. The question has never been whether Scotland has the resources.

The question is whether independence would be used to build something genuinely different, or if it would simply replace one set of managers with another. This platform takes the position that independence is only worth having if the answer to that question is yes.

I'm a 28-year-old Chartered Accountant and Chartered Tax Adviser working in Edinburgh. The 2014 referendum wasn't lost on values - it was lost because the economic questions didn't have clear enough answers. This platform is an attempt to make sure that doesn't happen again.
